This 11-day liveaboard journey combines two of Indonesia’s most remote and rewarding dive regions: Triton Bay and southern Raja Ampat. Starting in Kaimana and ending in Sorong, the trip offers a rare exploration from the nutrient-rich waters of Triton Bay to the coral-dense reefs of Misool, with up to 29 dives planned along the way. The first part of the trip focuses on Triton Bay, known for its soft coral gardens, dense fish schools and excellent mix of wide-angle and macro diving. Highlights include sites like Little Komodo, 3 Rocks and Aiduma, as well as a unique chance to dive around traditional fishing platforms where whale sharks are often seen. A cultural visit to the ancient Namatote rock art adds a special topside experience. After overnight crossings, the itinerary moves north through remote areas such as Momon and Pulau Pisang, where isolation has preserved exceptionally healthy reefs and vibrant marine life. These lesser-visited regions offer relaxed diving, strong coral growth and a real sense of exploration before entering Raja Ampat. The final days are spent in southern Misool, diving some of the most iconic reefs in Raja Ampat. Wayilbatan, Fiabacet, Boo, Yellit and Daram deliver dramatic limestone formations, soft corals, mantas, reef sharks and huge schools of fish. It’s a fitting finale to a diverse and immersive expedition through eastern Indonesia’s best diving.

We meet you at the airport or your hotel and transfer you to the harbour. Once onboard, you settle into your cabin, set up your dive gear and join the welcome briefing. After everyone arrives, we begin our journey toward Triton Bay. The rest of the day is for relaxing, unpacking cameras and getting comfortable with the boat and crew. No dives on the first day

Your first diving day begins in the heart of Triton Bay. Soft coral gardens, dense schools of reef fish and colourful underwater landscapes set the tone. Expect a mix of gentle drifts, wide-angle scenes and plenty of macro. Example dive sites: Little Komodo South, Little Komodo North, Bo’s Rainbow, Triton Slope.

A second day exploring the best of Triton Bay. 3 Rocks often delivers excellent fish action, while Aiduma’s slopes hold soft corals, wobbegongs and surprising macro life. Example dive sites: 3 Rocks, Little Komodo North, Pulau Aiduma Slope.

Morning dives around the traditional fishing platforms, where whale sharks regularly appear as they feed under the nets. After lunch, we might visit the ancient Namatote rock art, a cultural highlight displayed along the limestone cliffs. Example dive sites: Bagan fishing platforms.

After an overnight crossing, we reach the Momon region. Reefs combine hard and soft coral, steady fish life and occasional pelagic surprises. A short excursion to the Momon waterfall is also posible before another long night crossing. Example dive sites: Karang Paradise, Momon Kecil.

Seventy miles south of Misool sits the remote Pisang archipelago, a cluster of small islands surrounded by incredibly healthy reefs. Expect clear water, strong coral growth and plenty of reef life thanks to its isolation. Example dive sites: The Pinnacle, Pisang Wall, T-bone reef.

Entering the Raja Ampat section of the trip, today you dive the colourful ridges and seamounts of southern Misool. Soft corals, fans, pygmy seahorses and schooling fish are common around these dramatic limestone formations. Example dive sites: Four Kings, Wedding Cake, Barracuda Rock, Dunia Kecil.

A full day around the Fiabacet chain, known for pinnacles connected by shallow ridges packed with soft corals and anthias. Expect turtles, trevallies, surgeonfish and healthy gorgonian forests. Example dive sites: Tank Rock, Nudi Rock, Whale Rock.

A full day on Misool’s signature reefs. From Boo Windows to Yellit and Magic Mountain, these sites combine manta cleaning stations, ridges loaded with fish and long coral gardens with turtles and reef sharks. A night dive is planned. Example dive sites: Magic Mountain, Boo Window, Eagle’s Nest, Yellit Kecil.

Your final diving day explores the remote Daram islands. Drifting along soft-coral-covered walls, you’ll see fusiliers, napoleons and blacktip reef sharks cruising by. Example dive sites: Andiamo, Warna Berwarna, Candy Store.

After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful Wellenreng and her crew. We’ll arrange your transfer to the airport or your hotel in Sorong.
