This nearly 600-nautical-mile voyage is designed for true nature lovers, combining the legendary beauty of Raja Ampat with the remote seas of southern Halmahera into one extraordinary journey through some of Indonesia’s most diverse and spectacular landscapes. Few places can rival this richness: jungle-covered mountains rising from the sea, towering limestone cliffs, uniquely shaped islands carved with hidden coves, and countless beaches and lagoons—each day unveiling a new and striking panorama.

- A thorough exploration of the most remote parts of the Indonesian Archipelago. - A wide variety of lagoons, island, and pristine beaches lined with swaying palm trees along the voyage. - Remote, picturesque coastal villages and traditional fishing settlements. - A chance to encounter a greater variety of turtles. - Step back into the history of Banda, the legendary Spice Islands.

Upon arrival at Sorong Airport, you are transferred directly to the harbor, where our vessel awaits. Once onboard, our cruise director provides a welcome and safety briefing to familiarize you with the vessel and onboard procedures. We then raise anchor and head north into the Dampier Strait. Our first destination is a beautiful bay on Batanta Island, where we enjoy our first taste of white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and colorful coral reefs. Dense rainforest surrounds the bay, offering a chance to spot hornbills or parrots in the trees.

Before sunrise, adventurous guests can join a guided jungle trek to spot the extraordinary Wilson’s Bird of Paradise. Then during breakfast, we cruise to Arborek, where manta rays often glide through shallow cleaning stations. The afternoon is dedicated to unforgettable snorkeling at Yangeffo.

We will arrive in the Mutus region, where we’ll set off on a kayaking adventure along the lush jungle shoreline. You’ll also have time to relax on the beach, followed by some truly splendid snorkeling in the surrounding waters.

One of the trip’s highlights. A hike to the Piaynemo viewpoint rewards you with one of Raja Ampat’s most famous panoramas. Later, snorkel pristine reefs before anchoring near the tropical island of Pele for a beach barbecue at sunset.

Arriving at Kofiau Island, we visit two small fishing communities rarely seen by outsiders, offering a genuine glimpse into local island life, where daily routines follow the rhythm of the sea and curiosity is often met with warm smiles. After lunch onboard, we slip back into the water to explore two outstanding snorkeling sites. Beneath the surface, healthy coral reefs and abundant marine life reveal why Kofiau remains one of the region’s best-kept secrets.

The southern tip of Halmahera invites exploration. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters, the remote islands of Damar and Joronga lie far off the beaten track and are home to Bajau communities, the famous sea nomads. The day is spent exploring villages, hiking through nature, relaxing on quiet beaches, and snorkeling or diving in pristine waters. As night falls, we set sail and continue our journey under the stars.

The day begins with an early exploration of the reefs surrounding Sali, Proco, and Kusu Islands, where clear waters and healthy coral systems offer outstanding snorkeling. While lunch is served onboard, we set a northerly course toward a remote island hiding a jungle-lined inner lagoon. Here, we explore quietly by kayak, moving deep into an untouched natural setting. We finish the day with a visit to a traditional fishing village, before continuing our journey onward.

The Guraici Islands are largely uninhabited and celebrated for their exceptional natural beauty, with pristine beaches and colorful coral reefs. These clear, nutrient-rich waters also offer a chance to encounter graceful manta rays. During our time here, we searched for the perfect beach for a barbecue. Nearby islands are home to Bajau communities, the legendary sea nomads, adding a cultural dimension to this remote and beautiful region. These two days offer a perfect blend of nature, culture, and adventure.

We arrive early in the morning at the harbor of Ternate. After a final breakfast onboard, we say a warm farewell to the captain and crew before transferring you to the airport for your journey to Bali or another destination.
