Arrival Day Guests are welcomed by the crew at the airport from 12:00 PM onwards. For guests arriving later in the day, airport transfers are arranged approximately 1–2 hours after flight arrival. To ensure participation in the boat and safety briefing, guests are advised to arrive at the airport no later than 4:00 PM. Upon boarding the AMBA liveaboard, guests are greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and a lime-scented towel. Cakes are served while the tour guide provides a brief introduction to the vessel, including an overview of the ship’s facilities and the schedule for the day. Guests then have time to settle into their cabins and freshen up. At 5:00 PM, check-in documents are verified, followed by dive equipment setup on the accompanying dive boat (Dhoani), with assistance from the dive crew. Dinner is served at 6:00 PM. Afterwards, the crew is introduced and a comprehensive safety briefing is conducted. The remainder of the evening can be spent relaxing, socializing with fellow guests, or adjusting dive computers with the assistance of the dive team. The transfer meeting point is located either outside or inside the building next to Presidents Pier opposite the domestic airport. The area features a variety of small restaurants and coffee shops, all conveniently situated in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment. Day 2 to the Last Diving Day Each day includes 2–3 dives, including night dives, all conducted from the custom-built Diving Dhoni. Dive sites are carefully selected to provide the best possible experience, and comprehensive dive briefings are available in English, German, Italian, and Spanish to ensure guests are fully prepared for each dive. The Maldives offers some of the world's most spectacular underwater scenery, featuring vibrant coral gardens and encounters with a wide variety of marine life, including manta rays, whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, tiger sharks, bull sharks, great Hammerhead Sharks, Tresher Sharks, Dolphins, guitar rays, and many other fascinating species. All dives are conducted in self-reliant buddy teams. Experienced dive guides accompany the groups to showcase the highlights of each dive site and provide additional support when needed. Divers are expected to be capable of making independent ascents with their buddy, including the use of a surface marker buoy (SMB) and compass navigation when required. Last Diving Day – Day Before Departure The final dive of the trip is scheduled for 7:30 AM on the day before disembarkation. Following the dive, guests can rinse their equipment in the freshwater tanks provided and leave it to dry before packing. The official farewell gathering takes place at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and a final evening on board with fellow guests and crew. Departure Day Check-out is before 8:30 AM. A full breakfast is served for all guests, and earlier check-outs can be arranged upon request to accommodate flight schedules. Please note that late check-outs are not possible, as the vessel must be prepared and cleaned for the arrival of the next group of guests.
