Day 1 - Sorong We will pick you up at the airport or your hotel. Once on board, a welcome drink will be served. While we start our journey to Raja Ampat, we will give you a boat and safety briefing and then show you to your cabins so you can settle before lunch is served. We will try to have and afternoon and a night dive if the time allows Day 2 & 3 - Dampier Straits We will have 4 dives per day on a selection of the best sites in the area according to the tides and current. The Dampier Straits area is home to a few species of sharks, including the wobbeggong, as well as pigmy seahorses. The currents and topography of the sites allows to enjoy diving in the middle of schools of fish. Day 4 - Manta & Wofo We will have 1 or 2 dives in the area famous for manta rays sightings and head to Wofo where we will have 2 dives Day 5 - Wayag Wayag is considered by many as the gem of Raja Ampat. This vast aggregation of karst islands offers wonderful panorama and a unique chance to explore lagoons and enjoy pristine beaches IMPORTANT NOTE Since July 2025 we have been instructed not to go to the most northerly Islands. First, a little background… In the summer of 2025 there were some reports that mining activity was taken place on some of the islands in North Raja Ampat. Given that Raja Ampat is a unique eco-system, this obviously raised some concerns both domestically and internationally and there was quite a lot of negative press on the subject, so much so that the Indonesian Government revoked 4 of the 5 mining licenses (which were also deemed to have been granted illegally in the first place). This decision has not been welcomed by some of the locals who had been working at these mining sites. Some of the more militant of these locals have decided to protest this decision by trying to disrupt both Liveaboard operations and the operations of local day trip boats. The Government has stepped in to try and resolve the problem however until the situation has not been properly resolved, we have been instructed not to visit the more Northerly areas of Raja Ampat namely Wayag and Wofo. We must respect this instruction by the Government as it, like us, prioritises the safety of our guests and crew. Therefore, your itinerary may not include Wayag and Wofo if the situation has not been fully resolved by the time of your trip. However, the total number of dives will be the same and we will compensate by visiting other amazing dive sites and locations in the area. Day 6 - Piaynemo We will have 3 dives where you will admire the huge coral garden, schools of fish and sharks hunting in Melissa garden as well as slopes with black coral and whip coral. We will then start our long journey to the south part of Raja Ampat while watching the sun set. Day 7 & 8 - South Raja Ampat We will be diving on a selection of the best sites in the Misool area. You will be able to appreciate the difference in panorama with the central and north part of Raja Ampat, both above and underwater. Keep searching for the endemic pigmy seahorse in the many sea fans while keeping an eye on the reef and in the blue. Day 9 - South Raja Ampat We will have 2 dives in the Balbulol area before starting our long journey to Sorong Day 10 - Sorong It is unfortunately already time to say goodbye. After breakfast we will take you to the airport or your hotel. The last dive will complete on the penultimate day of the trip at around 12 pm. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours after their last dive completes before flying. Please note that the itineraries are examples and indicative. We reserve the right to change the itinerary or specific agreed services, if force majeure, unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances, weather, diver ability etc. require us to do so. Similarly, the order of dives etc. may chance depending on circumstances
