A trip tailored by our team of experts to give you the best of the Maldives in 10 days. This route will take you to North Male, Ari, Vaavu, Thaa, Meemu, and Laamu atolls. Some of the best dives in the Maldives are scheduled with a great variety of dive sites that will please every diver. Routes are indicative. They can change with the seasons. Visited atolls and dive sites are not guaranteed. The Senior Instructor in consultation with the divers and Boat captain will select the route and dive sites based on current, tides, and weather conditions in order to make the best possible dive safely. North Male Atoll BACK FARU: The out reef of Hulumale is ideal for a first dive of the holidays. Plenty of moray eels live here, including the magnificent honeycomb moray. Level: Easy Depth: 28m/92ft Cam: 24-60 North and South Ari Atoll MAAMIGILI HR: The main interest of this long-out reef is the possibility of meeting Whale Sharks and Zebra sharks! Drift along and keep your eyes open! Level: Easy Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: Wide/24-60 MAAYA THILA: Tiny Thila is a natural park full of surprises! Very popular for night dives, this place is home to many sharks and turtles. The top reef at 6m/20ft is great to end the dive. Level: Easy Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: Macro/24-60 FESDU WRECK: This small Wreck lays on a sandy bottom at 30m, close to an army of garden eels. Take the west direction from there and find a nice Thila where the small critters gather. Will you spot the resident frogfish? Level: Difficult Depth: 30m/100ft Cam. : M./W./24-60 FISH HEAD: Magnificent Thila! Grey reefs, white tips, Jacks, Turtles, and schooling fishes make this dive unforgettable. Level: Easy Depth: 15m/50ft Cam: 24-60 MOOFUSHI KANDU OU CORNER: Great dive with eagle rays, grey reef sharks, napoleons, and mantas, what else? Level: Med./Diff. Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: Wide DHIGGA THILA: 150m/500ft long Thila with stunning overhangs covered with colorful soft corals. The last part of the dive in a hard coral garden is just magical. Level: Easy Depth: 28m/91ft Cam: Macro/24-60 KUDARAH THILA: The number of fish in this marine park is just amazing. Schooling Jacks and snappers stay in place in the split point next to an anemone field. Keep your eyes open for a guitar shark passing by! Level: Med./Diff. Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 5 ROCKS: One of the best examples of the outstanding diversity of Maldivian marine life. Massive Gorgone fans, soft corals, and clouds of fish make this place so special. Level: Medium Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: M./W./24-60 BODU FINHOLU THILA: Beautiful Thila a bit away from the out reef. grey reef sharks, stingrays, mobulas in numbers can be seen here, as well as the magnificent whale shark! Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 ALIMATHA HR: Exceptional night dive with black tip sharks, Stingrays, and loads of Tawny Nurse Sharks. Level: Med./Diff. Depth: 20m/65ft Cam: Wide/24-60 FOTTEYO KANDU: One of the best dives in the Maldives. On top of the schools of Sharks and eagle rays, the soft corals are absolutely amazing. Level: Easy/Med. Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: M./24-60 DEVANA KANDU: The Great channel with sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, napoleons... Level: Medium Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 Meemu Atoll MULI KANDU: Drift dive close to Muli island, where turtles come to lay eggs. Abundant fish life with schooling snappers, tunas, and jacks, as well as sharks and eagle rays. Level: Medium Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 VANHURAVALHI KANDU: This channel can be crossed to approach the schools of grey and silvertip sharks. The deepest part of the dive offers nice overhangs covered with yellow net coral. Level: Difficult Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 KURALI KANDU: Located at the southeast point of the atoll, divers get good chances to enjoy the manta show with an outgoing current on a sandy bottom between 12 and 18m. Level: Easy Depth: 15m/100ft Cam: Wide angle HAKURA THILA: Amazing Thila with beautiful light effects on the north tip. The macro lovers will enjoy the shallow part of the dive, where a great variety of nudibranchs and pipefish can be found. Level: Medium Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 MADUVARI KANDU: Beautiful channel, home of a big school of sharks. Eagle rays, napoleons, barracuda, and jacks make it even nicer! Level: Difficult Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 Thaa Atoll KALHUFAHALA GIRI: Very fishy reefs with soft and hard corals. grey reef sharks, white tips, and eagle rays live around the pinnacle. Level: Easy Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: Macro OLHUGIRI KANDU: A Beautiful channel with sharks, rays, shoals of jacks, and snappers. Have a look into the overhangs for some nice soft corals. Level: Difficult Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 KALHUFAHALA HOUSE REEF: Superb spot to contemplate and make snorkeling with a whale shark at night. Level: Easy Depth: 15m/50ft Cam: Wide Laamu Atoll ISDHOO MULI: Located on the northeast tip of the atoll, this site offers a great variety of fish. White tip sharks, napoleons, turtles, jacks, groupers, and sweetlips can be seen. Level: Medium Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 FUSHI KANDU: Adrenaline junkies: get ready! Keep your eyes wide open for schooling eagle rays, grey reefs, white tips and big eye jacks! Level: Difficult Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 KADHDHO THILA: This mushroom-shaped site is a good place for macro dives. Nice hard corals and huge Gorgone fans bring a pleasant atmosphere during the dive. Level: Easy Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: Macro / 24-60 HITHADHOO CORNER: A long plateau located in the channel from 8 to 22m. Several cleaning stations offer an amazing manta show, while snappers, bat fish and great barracudas are watching in groups! Level: Med/Difficult Depth: 30m/100ft Cam: 24-60 Cruising speed (Flexible times) Sunrise: Tea, coffee, and the first dive (depending on the tide and the site) 8.30 am: Continental & local breakfast 9.30-10.30 am: Navigation 10.30 am: Some days the first or second dive 12.30 pm: Lunch with fresh fish, vegetables, rice, fruit, and local or international food 2 pm: Navigation or second dive 4 pm: island hopping or well-deserved rest Sunset: Night Dive (1 per week) 6.30 p.m: Relaxing. Bar opening! 8 pm: Dinner: usually fresh fish and traditional Maldivian cooking and international cuisine Evening «under the stars», a presentation of the fauna of the Indian Ocean. All aquatic activities are under the supervision of a qualified instructor of the team. Before each activity Instructors on board will make a detailed presentation of the site, currents, wildlife, and safety rules to be observed. The choice of sites is at the discretion of the captain and Seafari Senior Instructor depending on the season and weather conditions. The senior instructor may impose water supervision or restriction from diving to any diver whose technical level is not sufficient to guarantee safe diving conditions. Snorkeling sessions with manta rays are planned in secret places.
