This expedition is designed to make you feel as if the ocean belongs only to you—drifting over untouched coral gardens, diving alongside majestic mantas, and surfacing to unspoiled, postcard-perfect islands. We meet you at the airport or your hotel and transfer to the harbour. Once onboard, you settle into your cabin, set up your dive gear and join the welcome briefing. After everyone arrives, we start the long crossing through Sele Strait towards Misool. The rest of the day is for relaxing, unpacking cameras and getting familiar with the boat and crew. No dives on first day
Today we visit the remote Daram islands. These reefs are packed with soft corals, fans and dense fish life. Expect drifting along colourful walls with fusiliers, napoleons and blacktip reef sharks. Example dive sites: Andiamo, Warna Berwarna, Candy Store.
A full day on Misool’s signature reefs. From Boo Windows to Yellit and Magic Mountain, these sites combine manta cleaning stations, ridges loaded with fish and long coral gardens with turtles and reef sharks. A night dive is planned. Example dive sites: Magic Mountain, Boo Window, Eagle’s Nest, Yellit Kecil,
Today we explore the Fiabacet chain, a stunning series of pinnacles connected by shallow ridges packed with soft corals. These sites often deliver busy fish action—trevallies, surgeonfish, turtles and swarms of anthias blanketing the slopes. The white sand sections attract wobbegongs and the deeper edges are home to dense gorgonian forests. Example dive sites: Tank Rock, Nudi Rock, Whale Rock.
We continue exploring southern Misool, diving the colourful ridges and seamounts of Fiabacet and the Wayil area. Expect big soft corals, healthy fans, pygmy seahorses and excellent visibility. Example dive sites: Four Kings, Wedding Cake, Barracuda Rock, Dunia Kecil.
Our last Misool day takes us to Farondi, known for tunnels, caverns and dramatic overhangs. Inside the passages you’ll find soft coral trees, sponges and schooling sweetlips; outside, steep colourful walls. After the third dive, we begin the long navigation north. Example dive sites: Goa Farondi, 3 Rocks, Arch Cave.
We arrive early at Penemu for a day of classic Dampier reefs, including large hard coral formations and high fish density when current is present. In the afternoon we hike to the famous viewpoint overlooking the star-shaped lagoons. Example dive sites: My Reef, Melissa’s Garden, Batu Rufas.
We enter one of the richest zones in Raja Ampat. Reefs like Mayhem and Citrus Ridge deliver big schools of barracudas, fusiliers, trevallies and bumphead parrotfish. Mangrove-fringed bays offer a beautiful setting during surface intervals. Example dive sites: Mayhem, Citrus Ridge, Way Pretty Shallow, Gam North.
Another full diving day in central Raja Ampat. We start at Lalosi, then move to the manta cleaning station at Manta Sandy. After visiting Arborek village, we end the day with a night dive at the pier. Example dive sites: Lalosi, Manta Sandy, Arborek Jetty, Arborek Jetty (night).
Our final diving day focuses on two iconic sites. Expect large schools of jacks, snappers, barracudas and frequent grey reef sharks. After diving, we cruise back to Sorong for a relaxed final evening. Example dive sites: Cape Kri, Blue Magic.
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful Wellenreng and her crew. We’ll arrange your transfer to the airport or your hotel in Sorong.
