Maumere (MOF) - Ambon (AMQ) 13D12N Crossing trip route with divesites & areas of interest for 13-day trip starting with the East of Flores, Komba (Batu Tara), Lembata & the Alor Archipelago (Pantar & Alor). Then, in the Banda Sea through the Forgotten Islands on the Sunda Arc, before joining the Banda Arc up to the Banda Islands, Lease Islands & finally to Ambon. Starting in Maumere (Sikka Regency, Flores) & terminating in Ambon, the chief port of Maluku. Day 1 - Embark from Maumere, Flores (2dives) Embark from Ambon : Aruna Odyssey staff meet you at Frans Seda Airport (MOF) or hotel, Short journey to Maumere harbour to the ship. The phase of the moon and ensuing currents also factor highly in dive site selection. Lots or little experience, Aruna Fleet will ensure we provide dives to suit all levels and ensure all have a brilliant dive holiday. Therefore, the actual itinerary is at our Cruise Director’s discretion. • Sea condition is a BIG factor in the Banda Sea, both sailing & diving. • Depth is also a big factor & needs to be maintained in disciplined approach. Divers need to adhere to limits understanding that the location is remote & very far to emergency medical & recompression facilities. • If guests choose to do the last day of diving at Suanggi – we recommend not to book early flights the next morning.
