Meeting Point 08:30 | -8.4928242,119.8755475 1st Dive - Check Dive This site features a sloping reef that extends from 5 to 18 meters deep. It is well-protected from currents, especially during high tide, making it an excellent spot for a check dive. You can observe beautiful bommies, trumpetfish, Moorish idols, crocodile fish, damselfish, porcupine fish, angelfish, lionfish, and many more. 2nd Dive - Pengah Kecil A small island, that provides a protected lee, where we can dive. The varied topography from walls, sloping reefs, and plateau, creates a habitat just as diverse. We can dive to 30 m here depending on your certification or current but the island runs much deeper. Eagle rays bump head parrotfishes and juvenile white tip reef sharks have all found their home. It is also a place to enjoy the vast array of macro life from frogfishes, nudibranchs and every kind of shrimps. In the shallows are some of the most vibrant corals, and when the sunlight is in the right direction it makes your safety stop one of the finest. Sunset in Kalong Island After the second dive, we’ll stop at Kalong Island, where thousands of bats take flight at sunset—a stunning natural spectacle. Afterward, we’ll continue with a night dive to explore the underwater wonders. 3rd Dive - Waenilu (Night Dive) Night diving in Waenilu is like a box of chocolates—you never know what surprises await. Komodo Trekking - Rinca Island Trekking on Rinca Island takes approximately 1–2 hours, offering a chance to spot Komodo dragons and other wildlife. Guided by rangers, you'll explore stunning landscapes and enjoy breathtaking views. 4th Dive - Mawan Mawan is a vibrant dive site in Komodo National Park, known for its calm conditions and diverse marine life. The site features a cleaning station, where you can often spot manta rays gracefully gliding in for a clean. Surrounding the area are stunning coral gardens teeming with reef fish, nudibranchs, and other fascinating creatures, making it a perfect spot for both macro and wide-angle photography. 5th Dive - Siaba Kecil Siaba Kecil is a thrilling dive site in Komodo National Park, ideal for drift diving. The site features a healthy coral reef with vibrant colors and abundant marine life, including turtles, reef sharks, and schools of fish. As you ride the gentle currents along the sloping reef, you’ll be immersed in the dynamic underwater scenery that makes this dive an unforgettable experience. 6th Dive - Siaba Besar A dive site for everyone: a sheltered bay with coral seamounts and reefs home to large numbers of green turtles, the occasional white tip reef shark and a large seagrass bed home to some of the best macro in the park. If you are lucky you can see flamboyant cuttlefish, hairy frogfish, seahorses, even Mimic Octopus, and Rhinopias have been seen here. 7th Dive - Batu Bolong Dive in Batu Bolong, The jewel in the crown of Central. A pinnacle dive, where the top of the rock rises out of the ocean enough to provide a protected lee, which is how we most commonly dive this site. The pinnacle disappears into the deep so a dive from 2 to 30 m max is perfect. You will dive a mixture of wall and steeply shelving reef. As you descend through the clouds of anthias and schooling fusiliers, you can encounter Napoleon wrasse and giant sweetlips at cleaning stations, hawksbill turtles chilling out, white tip reef sharks passing by and giant trevally, barracuda and tuna all playing in the current lines. Looking in the blue may allow you to see dolphins, manta ray and a few other surprises! 8th Dive - Makassar Reef Dive in Makassar Reef or Manta Point, 2.5 km shallow drift dive to see Manta Rays at their cleaning stations. The average depth dived at this site is 8 – 10 m, this sloping reef descends further but all the action is in the shallows. The site is mostly rubble interspersed with hard and soft coral bommies that are home to yellow butterflyfishes and moon wrasses which are the primary cleaner fishes. You can also see bamboo sharks, black tips, turtles and awesome macro if you can take your eyes off the majestic manta rays. Beach Time - Makassar Reef Beach time on the sandbanks of Makassar Reef in Komodo National Park offers a unique and tranquil escape. These pristine sandbanks emerge during low tide, creating a stunning setting surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Relax on the soft, white sand, take in the breathtaking views, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the shallow waters. 9th Dive - Cauldron Cauldron or also called the shotgun is a channel between Gili Lawa Darat and Gili Lawa Laut island. The current will push you through the channel and bring you to the other side and you will slowly enjoy a very beautiful coral reef here. While the beginners will do it at Crystal Bay, Golden Passage and can be Protecting the side of Cauldron Sunset Trekking - Gili Lawa Darat Island -8.474678, 119.554932 Sunset trekking on Gili Lawa Darat takes around 1–2 hours and offers stunning views of rolling hills and turquoise waters. 10th Dive - Crystal Rock Diving at Crystal Rock is an incredible experience! Advanced divers can explore depths of 22–23 meters, while open water divers can go up to 18 meters. The currents here are as thrilling as the big marine life, with sightings of grey reef sharks, white-tip sharks, and giant trevallies. Without a doubt, it’s one of the best dive sites in the northern part of Komodo Island. 11th Dive - Castle Rock Castle Rock is recommended only for advanced or experienced divers during strong currents. It offers an unforgettable experience with sightings of surgeonfish, giant trevallies, and frequent visits from eagle rays and manta rays. The visibility here is excellent, making it a must-visit dive site in Komodo National Park. 12th Dive - Bamboo Slope Bamboo Slope, discovered by Luca, the owner, while exploring the other side of Tatawa Besar, is a hidden gem in Komodo National Park.
