Kimbe Bay: Continuing to draw international admiration for its biodiversity and dramatic underwater scenery, Kimbe Bay offers vibrant coral gardens, coral-covered walls and white sand cays such as Restorff Island. Bradford, Ingliss and Joelle’s Reefs among others are dramatic sea mounts hosting dense schools of reef fish and incredible invertebrate life. Its diversity and exceptional photographic opportunities are truly outstanding. The North Coast of New Britain: Is renowned for its dramatic seamounts and coral pinnacles, nourished by nutrient-rich upwellings from the deep. The active volcano Mount Ulawun dominates the skyline to provide sheltered diving conditions. The region's varied underwater topography includes spectacular sites such as Jackie's Reef, The Archway, and seamounts including Norman's Knob and Lesley's Knob. The Father's Reefs and the Lolobau Islands are also known for attracting significant pelagic activity, so there’s something for everyone in this area. The Bainings: Diving in the Bainings region offers rare access to seldom-visited waters for those seeking genuine exploration. Ataliklikun Bay and Lassul Bay feature sheltered volcanic coastlines that plunge into clear tropical waters. The dive sites encompass a diverse range of dramatic walls, reefs, pinnacles, and largely unexplored underwater landscapes rich in marine life. East New Britain diving: Includes spectacular jetty muck diving such as Johnny's Jetty, and reefs such as Fiona and Cold reefs.
