Komodo (LBJ) to Bali (DPS) 9D8N Dive sites & areas of interest for 9-day trip in Komodo & Sumbawa, visiting Saleh Bay where fishing 'bagan' attract whale sharks. Starting in Labuan Bajo (West Manggerai, Flores) & terminating in Serangan, Bali. Day 1 - Embark from Labuan Bajo Embark from Labuan Bajo : Aruna Odyssey staff meet you at Komodo Airport (LBJ) or hotel, Short journey to Labuan Bajo harbour to the ship. Check Dive Day 2 - South Komodo & South Rinca Day 3 - Padar Island Day 4 - Lintah Strait, East Komodo Day 5 - Gili Lawa Islands Day 6 - Sangeang Island, NE Sumbawa Day 7 : Moyo Island Day 8 - Saleh Bay Day 9 - Disembark at Serangan Port, Bali NOTES: • Itinerary is sample only. • The schedule for this region is not fixed, as we like to evaluate the conditions and the divers and what is ‘hot’ at the moment. The phase of the moon and ensuing currents also factor highly in dive site selection. Lots or little experience, Aruna Fleet will ensure we provide dives to suit all levels and ensure all have a brilliant dive holiday. Therefore, the actual itinerary is at our Cruise Director’s discretion. • Current is a BIG factor in Komodo both sailing & diving. • South Komodo is sometimes inaccessible because of big waves, or less desirable because of cold water & low visibility. Actual schedule will depend on feedback from other operators recently in those areas.
