The Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located east of Bali, just an hour’s flight away, near the island of Flores. It includes two main islands - Komodo and Rinca - as well as 27 smaller islands, spread across a marine area of approximately 1,750 square kilometers. No trip to Komodo would be complete without a hike to see one or more of the famous Komodo dragons, the largest lizards in the animal kingdom. Their habitat is a mix of monsoon forest and open savannah, which they share with buffalos, deer, and a wide variety of birds. The underwater world is just as spectacular as the landscapes above water. This region is one of the richest ecosystems on Earth, forming part of the Coral Triangle. Whether you are a diver or a snorkeler, you will be captivated by the kaleidoscopic beauty of these tropical coral reefs. Add a few stops on idyllic beaches and a visit to a welcoming village, and you have a cruise you won’t soon forget.

Upon boarding the vessel, our cruise director will give a briefing to help you get familiar with the boat. Then, we’ll enjoy a refreshing swim and snorkeling session along a pristine white sandy beach. After lunch, we set sail for the island of Sebayor, where we’ll embark on a scenic hike and take in a breathtaking sunset overlooking the park.

Today, we will begin with an early trek on Rinca Island to see the famous Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat. After the hike and a visit to the museum, we will return to the boat for a refreshing swim along a beautiful beach. We will then sail to Karang Makassar, a stunning reef surrounded by a picturesque beach, where Manta Rays and sea turtles are often spotted.

After breakfast, we will explore the stunning sandbank of Karang Makassar before sailing to Gili Lawa Darat and Gili Lawa Laut. These small islands, located north of Komodo, feature picturesque landscapes and some of the most captivating snorkeling sites in the park. The channels between these islands create a snorkeler’s paradise, with vibrant coral growth, abundant sponges, and a diverse array of fish species. In the late afternoon, you can hike to a breathtaking hilltop viewpoint and enjoy a spectacular sunset over the park.

You will wake up next to a charming little island, just 30 minutes from the harbor. Here, you can unwind on a beautiful beach and explore the vibrant marine life one last time. After that, we bid farewell to the crew and transfer you to the airport, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your journey.
